System Upgrade Information

  1. What is happening?

    Security Savings Bank is excited to share that we are upgrading our core banking system to better serve you! This project has been in development for over two years and reflects our commitment to providing enhanced banking services and processes for all customers.

  2. When is this happening?

    Our upgrade will take place over the weekend of June 5th - June 7th. We plan to begin using our new and improved system on Monday, June 8th.  

  3. What can I expect?

    Both branches (Monmouth & Stronghurst) will be closed on Saturday, June 6th and will re-open Monday June 8th at regular scheduled times. For more details, please see the Important Dates section.

  4. Important Dates

    • June 1st and June 2nd ATMs will be unavailable. Possibilities of intermittent debit card interruptions.
    • June 4th Starting at 8:00 AM online payment and Bill Pay services will be shut down.
    • June 5th Starting at 4:00 PM online banking AND the mobile app will be unavailable.
    • June 5th Starting at 1:00 PM mobile deposit will be shut down.
    • June 6th Monmouth and Stronghurst branches both closed.
    • June 6th and 7th Debit and ATM card services may be temporarily unavailable at times throughout the days. Please have an alternative form of payment of payment or cash to complete your purchases.
    • June 8th Monmouth and Stronghurst branches open at regular scheduled times.
    • June 8th New mobile banking app and online banking planned to become available for first login.
    • June 10th Online payment and Bill Pay services planned to become available.
  5. What is NOT affected?

    There will be NO CHANGES to your account number, debit card or rates.

  6. Should I do anything to prepare?

    Please ensure we have your current address and phone number. We encourage you to plan ahead for your banking needs the weekend of June 5th - June 7th as many of our services will be unavailable.

  7. Is my information safe?

    Yes, rest assured that your personal and account information will remain secure thoughout this upgrade process.

  8. What about Zelle®?

    Zelle® will be unavailable after June 5th at 4:00 PM. Recurring payments will NOT be transferred into the new system. Please plan to enter your recurring payments when the new system becomes available on June 9th.

  9. What if I am a Business?

    ACH Batches will not be accepted after 4:00 PM on June 5th. The system will be available the following week. For Business Online Banking Users, the existing templates will be provided in the new system.

    We believe our customers will quickly see improvements in processing, account handling and overall service. Over time, these enhanced processes will provide better account access, improved information and greater efficiency—giving you more time for the rest of your day!

    As we move through this transition and learning phase, we appreciate your patience and understanding.  Security Savings Bank is committed to making this change as seamless as possible and will work diligently to ensure a smooth conversion.

Online & Mobile Banking Login Instructions

 

Instructions for 1st login June 8th:

  • Mobile Users will be required to download our new app which can be found on our website when it becomes available.
  • Enter your existing Username.
  • Follow the Security Verification steps via phone call or text.
  • Enter your temporary password. (If you are unaware of your temporary password, please contact us.)
  • Enter your new password. NOTE: Passwords ARE case sensitive.

Additional Information:

  • Transfer Now will NOT transfer to the new system. You will need to re-enter these after your 1st login June 8th.
  • Bill Pay existing payment WILL transfer to the new system and will be available after June 10th.
  • Zelle® payments will NOT transfer and will need to be re-entered into the new system June 9th.
  • There will be no changes to your cards.
