Our local radio station, Prairie Communications, broadcasting as 97.7 WMOI and 1330 WRAM, annually hosts "1/2 Way Freezin' for Food" event.  Several SSB staff participate along with many other people from the community, to help raise money for food that will go to  Roseville Helping Hands Food Pantry and Jamieson Center Food Pantry.

Security Savings donated a check for $1,000 to the Holy Family Front Line Caregiver Fund to start off 2021.  Money from this fund will be spent to provide day-to-day support to Mission Partners with meals, supplies, additional PPE gear and more.  The goal is to help make our local front line caregivers feel appreciated and encouraged to continue to battle COVID-19.  SSB staff also held an internal fundraiser to further support this initiative.

Dawn Johnson, Security Savings CFO and Stephanie Hilten, OSF HealthCare Foundation. Thank you to our front line caregivers from all of us at Security Savings Bank

Even though 2020 has been a challenging year for most of us, Security Savings Bank was able to make possible several significant donations to businesses and non-profit organizations in our communities by securing grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago.
